We Knew This Before is a visual and conceptual exploration of the kiss. Not just as a gesture of intimacy, but as a mirrored pattern – a soft mechanism that echoes through memory, matter, and time.
Each image in the series is built from fragments: code, emotion, recognition. The kiss appears again and again – not as a moment, but as a loop. Something ancient, digital, and quietly familiar.
Using AI-assisted collage, I create liminal scenes that shift between signal and shadow. These are not portraits, but emotional codes – traces of presence, silence, and perception.
Here, the kiss becomes a kind of protocol. Predictable, repeatable, but never fully understood.
We knew this before.

This project operates at the edge of simulated memory and synthetic aesthetics.
It explores the phantom residues of non-existent systems – visual traces from worlds we never lived in, but somehow recall.
The works are smooth errors, graceful misalignments, intentional misreadings of digital clarity.
This is not a commentary on technology – it’s a symptom of it.
The viewer enters a seductive surface and is left with the feeling of déjà vu from a dream someone else had.
